since chase was treated for that coccidiosis he has always had the runs and was not gaining a great deal of weight and has not bee able to have his next needle so Becky took him back to the vets Monday last week and had him checked to make sure the coc's was all gone. the ran some tests and he is all clear for coc's and worms but put him a course of antibiotics just in case he had got an secondary infection in his damaged gut. he put on 2kgs this week and his stools are getting a little bit better and his non stop energy levels have now doubled. so please if you have the misfortune to get a dog that has cocc's please watch out for the aftereffects they are an on going problem for the rest of your dogs life you have to try and make sure your dog never gets stressed as they can have another outbreak of cocc's.
