Hi

I'm Scouser, I live in Canberra with Perry my Koolie. Perry came to me through Koole Rescue and is an absolute delight. She is 19 months old and full of life.

I had not heard of Koolies until I saw the advertisement for Perry (formerly known as Peggy) but cannot imagine having any other dog now. Perry was renamed because she was starting a new life where she is spoiled rotten - she is called after champagne perry - a very bubbly drink because she is a very bubbly dog. She is n excellent advertisement for Koolies as companions- she goes everywhere with me, people always ask what type of dog she is and if we stop for coffee she often has a queue of a dozen people waiting to give her a pat. She thinks this is her due and rewards them all with a big kiss.

We often walk around the lake here and she is particularly popular with Japanese and American tourists. There must be around 500 photographs of her back in Japan.

We have just passed beginners obedience so will be in intermediate next term - after that we are hoping to try flyball and agility ad would really like to try herding.

For joining the forum, I know you and Perry are just going to love it here, sought of a little haven for Koolie's and those that love them.
