Hi all

I've just re registered as a member of the Koolie forum.

My name is Jan Taylor and I have owned Koolies for the past 10 to 12 years.
I along with my husband Alan was at the innaugral meeting held in Neilsborough and have been members ever since and my bith Lissa was the obedience dog used on the Burkes Backyard video.
Lissa is no longer with us but we have Bryce 5 (Frank Kelm breeding - Victoria) and Amber 2 (Jenni and Paul Simmons Misty Mountain - Nth NSW).

Due to going back to school last year and shift work this year have been unable to get to any meetings since 2005. Would love to get more involved with the club again and maybe will be able to do so thru the forum.

See ya

Thanks for the Welcome mushoz and for the welcome back Silhouette.

Life is fine in Marnoo I think, don't get to see it much anymore or anywhere else for that matter. Getting heaps of work on two Nurshing Home/Hospitals in local towns. That also means that unfortunately don't get to do much with the dogs either. Loving my new profession should have done it years ago.
Hopefully will get some time to come to a meeting sometime soon, but may have to be next year.

Welcome back, nice to see your still kicking.
Say hi to Alan hope he's well.
I think everyone will agree this year has been an extra for the workload and many have missed their little slice of relaxation, whether it's working sheep or dairy or stock, this year has just been full on.
Can you believe it there is only three months to Christmass.
And what's with this flu, I'm dieing man no kidding, thank god for sheep training a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi TJ

Glad to be back

Alan is well at the moment thanks, sort of (has the flu which he can't seem to shake). He's had a couple of stints in hospital again 1st for nearly 4 weeks; 2nd for 3 days. So far everything seems to be going well.

This flu really is a killer, you just seem to get rid of it then you get it back again. My granddaughter has been really sick a couple of times and as I said Alan can't seem to shake it.

Hope that you get over it soon, but I think it will be around for a little while longer.

Hows the dog training going? I'm starting to miss the training and the trialling, will have to get back into it, but all I gotta do is train Bryce with the new things that he has now to do for his CD title.

I just don't get the time and when I have the time ain't got the inclination. Must be all these strange hours I'm working.

Thanks for the reminder about Christmas - that means I'll be having another birthday soon (bummer).

See ya
