Hi!

I've been a member of the KCA for years, but only just joined this forum, so thought I should introduce myself.

My name is Diane. I have two and a half dogs - Nicky, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (14years old) is the 'half' and lives with my parents now. Hope is a Koolie X (Border Collie I think) and is around 6 1/2 years old and Fox (5 1/2years) is a Kelpie.

I live in Marong near Bendigo, Victoria and have been enjoying attending the Elmore sheepdog training days and the occasional KCA meeting.

I am an (obedience & agility) instructor and committee member of the local Obedience Club which I really enjoy now that the club has changed to positive reward based training methods.

My dogs and I enjoy many dog sports including Agility, Herding, Flyball and Obedience. We also dabble in tricks and I was so proud and pleased when Fox got chosen for a part in the movie 'Romulus, My Father', staring Eric Bana. It was also great seeing my name in the credits up on the big screen as the dog wrangler!

I look forward to being a part of this forum and I've attached some photos of my dogs for you to admire...

Thanks for your detailed suggestions on my obedience/retrieving question post for Ziggy. I'll be using them as my guide.

I'm going to have a shot at plaiting some of your tug-o-war toys too. Look forward to meeting you in person at a KCA meeting in Neilborough sometime this year.

glad to see you here i like the look of all your dogs, i have a soft spot for cavaliers they are sooo cute and i love the colour of your kelpie nice strong colours and of course your koolie is a looker too!
