Its heating up in the tropics, Pixie in her sunwear (doesn't like her doggles, but likes the hat) and detests the sunscreen.

If they move into swim wear all is lost.
How accommodating are these Koolies.
I tried the hat bit on my girl and am still finding the pieces, obviously not for everyone.
But looking Cool!!!

The hat took a lot of modifying to make it comfortable (is a peak cap cut up with ear holes) and lots of treats to distract her from pushing it off and keeping her moving when she is wearing it. But success!! Normally when I am at work they sleep during the day, but weekends when we are all out doing something in the heat of the day she is quite comfortable wearing it, even has her siesta under the tree with it on. (Just gotta watch Smithy!! he tries to take it off her, just jealous ... wants one of his own)

yes I have to get Doggles for my deafie/sight restricted deafie for this summer so she can do more than squint n sniff her way around, but I really think I'll have fun trying to keep them on her.

Pixie was never keen on the doggles, she eventually broke them by mistake. I found they were too close to her eyes and restricted her vision. I am going to try her with children's wrapparound sunnies with an elastic strap around the back.
The doggie hats didn't have a long enough brim to shade her eyes. The peak cap puts her eyes in shadow quite well and once we cut the ear holes big enough for her huge ears, all was happy.

Yes they are certainly a trade mark, helps keep the hat straight. Poppie can hear me crack an egg into their dog bowl from way out in the yard...
