His Sire is our beloved Superstar Tjukurpa Kool Bo, a true gentleman and sire of Koolies that are now travelling the globe. He has converted many a "non Koolie folk" into fans of the breed through his ability, exceptional temperament and athleticism.
His Mother is Tjukurpa Chevy. Chevy is our Matriach, a wonderful athletic bitch with a brilliant temperament and very maternal nature. Red is from her 2nd litter.
Chevy's first litter consisted of 4 pups. Two red merle females "Dot" and "Patch", a red merle male "Blaze" and just like "RED" a solid red male "Chocco". This litter turned out to exceed our expectations in everyway and was exactly the type of Koolie we wanted to produce so we repeated the mating.
Blaze and Patch reside with us. Blaze is and awesome guy and willing worker that will stand as a stud dog and possibly do some trial work down the track.
Patch is our socialite, an incredibly loving girl and quirky character, not too bad on the sheep either. IF! we find a nice solid Koolie boy worthy of her we hope to produce a litter from her in the future.
Dot is an incredibly nimble and fast light framed worker who was purchased to work in the USA where she now resides.
And Chocco is another superstar that resides in Port Lincoln S.A where he runs a few thousand sheep and a few hundred head of cattle. He has turned out to be an extremely good worker that has made staff members redundant.
Red is from Chevy's 2nd litter
Another of the outstanding progeny from the mating of Chevy and Bo is Red's brother, "Rocco" whom we will also stand as a sire.
Red's sister "Minya" is off to New Zealand together with Snowview Drover.
And also from that same litter is Poppy and Pixie who reside at the Doggy 5 star Resort in Atherton QLD with Jackie H. I'll have to post a picture of them in another post because I have run out of room.
It never ceases to amaze us how this mating has produced progeny with solid working instinct coupled with the temperament of a first class loyal family dog. It has been a thrill for us to own and breed these dogs and hear the continual positive feedback about them.
