RachelleBuck are these the brother and sister?? how did you end up with them????
RachelleBuck
Yes they are brother and sister. They came from the RSPCA and I am looking after them as a half way house for Koolie Rescue!!!

Rachelle agreed to foster for us and has been an angel, we were able to pay for their release but stuck in Sydney when the call come that they had to go then or they were doomed.
She stepped in for us picked them up and has welcomed into her home and is even doing some training with them.
Thanks Rachelle, we couldn't have done it without you.
I'll see you on Saturday for pick up, these are two very gratefull Koolies who you have offered a second chance at the lives they deserve, feels good doesn't it.
That's got to be a good thing.

It does feel good and we are always happy to help. After the week I had last week (OH's 4WD blow the motor then our "spare" car was stolen from the train station)it was great to have a feel good moment. My brother and I got them out to the car and let out a sigh of reliefe that we finally had them safe and well.
I am teaching them the basic's, like their names and sit and not to jump up on people. OH is teaching them to shake hands as a party trick. Tiger is picking it up so easy and Phoenix is slowly getting it too.

Well Tiger is now residing with us and is being very good not a peep.

We hope that once she has gone through her assessment she will take her place with the happy throng and continue to learn andgrow into a very lovely companion.

She is going to suit an active person, possibly as the only dog, or she may just learn not to be so dominant while she is here.
She has such a lovely nature and I know she just wants to please, so half my job is done.

I believe our Matriachs can teach her a thing or two.

That is great to hear, she was such a loverly dog and always wanting to please, she is so easy to train. Hopefully she will come down a pin while with you, poor Kelli was born a lover not a fighter and didn't know what the hell to do. Thank you so much for helping us out with her and I hope your other foster baby arrived at Queenland with no problems.

Tiger has found a new home, I must appoligise to Rahcellebubk I sent you an email this morning saying it was Phoenix who had found the home, but it is his sister Tiger, so sorry, I know it will only be a matter of time before he has found his as well, though a little birdy did tell me that you are both thrilled with his progress, so I am confident that he will not be a burden to you.
Tiger is off to S.A this Saturday to live on 9'000 acres and her new owner is coming all the way here to pick her up, and he only wants her for companion.
See we have only had her a week and already she has found the perfect home, where the RSPCA would have put her to sleep, private rescues do make a difference.

WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry everyone at the meeting you will not have the chance to meet her. She was just great and a real koolie though and though. She was just a cutie pie. Phoenix is welcome to stay with us for as long as he likes, just need to convince the OH that he would be a great addition to the family so we can make it offical!!!
This is why the people that breed each breed of animal needs to be responsable for their own breed, who better to find a home for a Koolie than people that know and breed them in the first place!!!!!
