Hey Michael hope you made it home today, so sorry for the long wait mate you're a peach.
Michael and family in tow arrived all excited to pick up Ziggy this morning at 9am only to discover we could not be reached, oh the drama.
While the hours dragged by, where was I,?
Stuck in Echuca for the umpteenth time waiting for my car to be release from the mechanic.
I tried calling Michaels mobile but got no response, learned later that he wasn't getting a signal.
Final at 12:30 I got the car, rushed home to four messages all from Michael and with each one I expected the "look we have to go home now, sorry you weren't here, call us" but it never came they all just waited, visited Echuca had a look around our fair town, got some lunch and kept on calling, with nothing but patience to keep them waiting.
I grabbed a very dirty Ziggy, (we had rain today and he made mud) whisked him into Rochester after a hasty call to Michael and then practically dropped Ziggy in the families lap, thanked them, threw Michaels generous donation of a wonderful 20 kilo bag of Bonny pallets and biscuits and then had to say goodbye and fly down to Bendigo to have my poor computer fixed, it was all such a Murphy's law day.
I just want to thank Michael and his family for offering Ziggy just the best home I could ever want for such a terrific little guy and say sorry publicly for leaving you stranded for half the day, thank you for waiting, thank you not leaving when you have every right to.
And thank you for not holding my bomb of a life against Ziggy, I know you are made for each other.
Can't wait to hear that his has settled in with his terrific new family.
It is by the grace of god that my jobs get done and the very extraordinary patience of those around me.
