Hi All,
just thought i'd say hi as I'm new. I live on a 4800 acre sheep and grain property and own 2 male koolies who do all our yard work. We used to have a female until 18 months back when she lost a fight with a tiger snake :( and she used to do our paddock work.

Looking forward to reading all the old posts and 'talking' to all you forum members!

A big welcome to you. I don't think I have gotten much work done since I have enrolled on this Koolie forum.

Yes it does keep you distracted doesn't it, just trying to keep your welcomes up to all these nice new members, such a hard job but someone has to do it.

Sheepworker from where do you hail that's a lot of dirt you’re standing on, how have you faired in this drought, getting any rain your way.

It rained today, almost embarrassed to call it that, not enough to settle the dust, but enough to make it humid and sticky, fly's everywhere it seems.

I know you as with everyone are going to have a great time here, post a couple of photos of your boys.

Sorry to hear about the girl, she must have been good to handle the paddock on her own, how many head do you run.

Welcome, and i hope you enjoy the board,snakes are a worry with the dogs, we have seen several here at our place in Tassie so far, because its so dry i think they will be about in numbers...

Our farm is in the se corner of WA, between Albany and Esperance. We have managed to get a harvest and some stock feed this year. Our dams are a bit low, we'll have to keep checking the sheep all summer to make sure they are OK for drinking water but compared to a lot of farmers we're doing alright, thanks for asking !

Sheepworker, I hope you can share some pics of your males in action at somestage.
