just one koolie is not enough they are just great dogs to have around. i like pixie she is a pretty girl and smithy is getting a chubby boy now.
all your dogs are very handsome and your koolies are beautifully marked and i am still green with envy about tinaroo creek can ya send it up here please i would love it.

I just love it. It is 45 minute drive from home, there are closer creeks and rivers, but Tinaroo we can walk along the rocks for as long as you like and the dogs get to run and swim as the go along, depending on the dogs that I take with me, I bounce the tennis ball off the rocks and they have to chase to find it. There were two others that didn't get their pickies taken Abbey and Patch. Abbey is my other red cattle girl and Patch I have at home until his owner builds a fence at his new home.

Patch is also in need of dog obedience training which he will get while he is with me, he is one of Abbey's puppies from a couple of litters ago so also is a purebred ACD. There is a bit of bickering with Smith, but Smith just keeps out of his way. Smith has such a placid nature he gets along with anyone.

With my partners dogs we have 10 between us (not including Patch who will go home in due course)

I will be moving to my brother's place when my shed house is build in about 6 months and after that I will be snooping around for a blue merle girl then. (hopefully off Sheringa as I do so like my two Sheringa girls).

Oh it is sooo not fair, I want another Koolie but I cannot due to Council by-laws only allowed two dogs. I was lucky I got away with three dogs for so long. But now back to two so I won't push my luck. If I had my way I would get another Koolie in a heartbeat. You are very lucky to have that in your area JackieH. Just reminded me that the creek will be up where I used to take Ceejay as a pup due to all this rain.

We are only allowed two dogs in a residentail or rural residental block too, but on a "RURAL" block you can have as many as you like!!!! I lived in town with five dogs and no one complained, they were exercised twice a day and lots of weekend outings so all was peaceful at home but when the opportunity came up for me to move out here I jumped at it (and collected another Koolie just to christen the place.... )

Royalla I would have to send Tinaroo down to you as I am further up the hill in Queensland (Far North Queensland)in the tropics thats why we have so much water.

i had 4 dogs in town and no one complained about them i just did the same thing walks or bike rides twice a day and bush walking on the weekends or to the beach. and i have a no barking command and when i went out i use to put them to bed in their crates.
there is a creek on joylands but it has no water in it that i can find but then again i have not had the chance to walk very far along it i have been told that it has water holes long it some were so we just go down to the dam Quin, Ellie and Summa are water mad Spice runs around the outside of the dam trying to herd them back out of the water and gypsy god love her will not even get her feet wet she is to much of a lady for that i think she is a shi tzu x cat d.gif.
jackieH why don't you put your tinaroo pic's up in websites and photo's i forget to look down here most of the time and they are great photo's i would hate to miss out on seeing them.
