Okay I think this should work now.
Last Sunday I went with Enid to visit one of her mates who owns the only commercial Bullock Team in Australia. He actually goes into the mountains with his team and snigs the trees down to load into his truck which he then uses to make fence posts. He yoked them up for us and drove them down the paddock just using voice commands. His 93 year old dad, Les, was there too and it was his great, great, grandfather who started this tradition. I have attached a photo of Les and the bullock team in the background.

awsome, he looks like he's stepped from the pages of history, be sure to get lots more photos, too soon he'll be gone and an era will have ended.
Does he have a son who might take over for him.?

Ahhh the Bullocks mystery has finally been solved. That would have been something to see. Do you have anymore photos?

I did ask about why bullocks have horns and Robin replied with a grin "because they look good".

Thanks for posting more photos. They look amazing, I love the bovines. Very gentle if handled but by geez if not, had a hereford bull that dad bought he was nasty!!
I love their tongues all raspy and long. I sure do miss having cows about, I just talk to the ones across the road. I am sure people think I am that mad woman at the end of the street.
If you ever go again and if you have a video camera you should tape them. (not asking for much am I lol)

It was a great morning and it was lovely listening to Enid and Robin and Robin's dad all chatting away. Robin and Enid used to compete at sporting about 45years ago. Robin said Enid used to beat him at Flag racing but he used to beat her at barrell. They were both laughing. Robin said it was all good fun and everyone was mates, never any fights or bad words.
I am just lucky that I have such good friends that are willing to include me in their outings. I was going to take the kids but they decided they didn't want to go (ages 9 and 6) so I toddled off myself. I hope the kids have an assignment on Australian History because I reckon if we did the bullock team I would get 100% LOL.
Hey CJ I think Enid took some video so I will look into it for you. I love the way you talk to the cows down the road. I love cows too especially their big eyes and talking about mad women I used to be called the goat girl as when I went out walking I used to take Jennifer (our goat who is now 18), two dogs and a cat.
