This is Tammy, Miss Tam, Tam Tam or Bloody Cat depending on what she is doing. She comes when called - good recall for a cat!! She sits on command and will mostly give you a kiss when you ask for one. She also likes to drink out of the glass of water I have next to my bed at night! She also likes to sit on your shoulder while you walk around. I think she was a parrot in a past life. She also likes being wheeled around in trolley or on an esky with wheels, at a sedate pace of course so she can survey her queendom. Tammy is also my assistant when I do calligraphy when I frequently have to lift work away from her paws and spilt ink when she jumps up on my work table.

This is Bluey who sadly is no longer with us. He was an apricot toy poodle who faded which I now know is a dilute!! He was my shadow and stole and held my heart. Most of the time he looked a lot scruffier than this.

I have a couple of cats like her, they are minature people and let you and the dogs know it.
My mum bred toy and mini poodles when I was growing up, great animals, my dad effectionatly called them his rug rats, they were so trusting of us 6 kids they would just flop down anywhere, they did look like mats, especialy in full coat.

We used to have a rather large 8.5kg Ginger and White and a small Siamese Choc point. Both lived to good ages. Mischief (ginger) died @ 15yrs (snake bite) Cadbury @ 17yrs. We now have a very dark grey/silver cat (almost colour of British Blue). Named "Smudge", but gets called various other names, depending on what he is upto, eg "Bloody Cat" "Cuddle Cat" "Pain in the butt". But we love him and when he gets outside and won't come back we worry till we find him.

Yep we too have a grey coloured cat called Smudge or Smudge the S**t. He offers himself as a sacreficial lamb to the dogs, loves to be defleaed and dragged around by the scruff. I have no idea why? Always covered in dog slobber.

Our other cat Salem is a black cat who follows you when you go for walks, very diconcerting two dogs and one cat following you around. I have had to chase him back numerous times. Also plays with the dogs and loves smooches. He is also the mouse patrol cat. Smudge is the most uncordinated cat I have come across and I don't think he could catch a snail if he tried. cat.gif

Tammy sounds like one cool cat to have, can you get a photo of her sitting on your shoulder (if you don't mind us seeing your face). Pretty please. zpls.gif

Tammy sure is a cool cat!!! And yes she had been helping me do some art work. I accidently left a piece of paper on the floor that I had used pastels/chalks on and well you know how cats like to lie on paper!!! I tried to give her a bath to get it off but it didn't really work, just had to wait for it to wear off. She didn't really mind the bath, especially when I showed her some dried kibble. She was quite content to be wrapped up in a towel and sit on the washing machine and eat while she was wet. She is a gutso - she's about 6 kilos. Oh she is also a good hunter. Brings me water dragons (about 45cm)and rats. All alive (except for one but that's another story) with not a mark on them. I have to then catch them in my lounge room and go down to the creek and let them go.
But she does have dandruff! Anybody got any cures???
