Hi I am new to the forum, I have a Koolie named Ellie (my mum thinks she is her dog but really she is mine). I have had Koolies all my life, and I am nearly 10 years old. I love Koolies because they are smart, loving and colourful. One day I want to breed them but mum says not till I have left home.

yes please lots of pic's we love pic's and please tell us about Ellie, I have a Ellie to but she is a border collie and a very smart one at that. i have lots of koolies but not as many as some people my koolies are spice she is a try colour, summa she is red merle, Mirra and Dance are both blue merle girl puppies and then there are the boys Quin is a tri merle, Greyson is a black merle, Kaos is a tri colour, Spencer is a little blue merle puppy and that's it thank god.

it's great to see you here, I'm Penny, from New Zealand. I have 3 Welsh Springer Spaniels and I love to play agility with them. I am getting a Koolie very soon too. I would love to see pics of your Ellie as well.

I will send lots of pics of my puppy when I get him.

Welcome Tigerlily. Ellie looks lovely from the photos I've seen of her. I'm a bit like you in hoping that *one day* I'll be able to breed Koolies - and like you I've wanted to breed dogs since I was about 10 (and that's a while ago!). However, might be a long, long while for me, hope it's sooner for you.

Ellie is a red merle with 2 blue eyes and white collar. She has a white tip on her tail as well as white feet. She is very very CUTE.

Ellie is six. Me and my Mum tought her to crawl,jump through a hoop and jumps into your arms aand she barks when you tell her to speak.

Mum said that she will take me and ellie to agility this year. You are lucky to have 3 dogs. I am going to look on the internet after this to see what Welsh Springer Spaniels look like. I will take some photos today and try to put them in. Is New Zealand a nice place to live.

Ellie can't have puppies but one day I hope to get a girl Koolie from my friend Enid but mum said that will be a long time away.

Thanks for all your replies and I want to learn heaps about Koolies and training them.

when you go to reply to a post and have opened up the reply box you will see a little pic of a tree click on this a little silver box will pop up click ok on this then at the bottom of you tool bar i think thats what it's call up the top of the page anyway you will see a thin yellow bar click on this it will ask two things TEMPORARILY ALLOW SCRIPTED WINDOWS and some thing else click on the temporarily allow scripted windows you can then down load your pic's from an internet site like photobucket which is very easy to use and it's free your mum should be able to help you set up a photobucket site then you can put up lovely pic's like this one of my boy Quin
