Hey did you ever get to see the movie Charlotte's web.
I took my mum and daughter and tissues, so good.
The book still remains one of my favorites, have you ever read any Enid Blyton, Far away Tree, The wishing chair all terrific.
My family are mad on reading I confess I wouldn't be on this forum so much if I could find more books from my favorite authors, like Ann McCaffrey she write about Dragons.
But I read them as soon as she releases another one.
God even with a spell check I can't spell, I'd say I was dislexic but cna't spell that either.

That is a great picture of your clan of dogs!!!!
I love to read too, and as I get the train to work each morning I have about an hour to fill in!!! I love autobiographies though!!! I have just finished the Brooke Sheilds book Down came the rain about life after her daughter was born.
I will have to raide Keith's (my brothers) book collection. He has about a zillion dragon books, the hobit and all those and let you know what he has. Maybe he has something you have not read yet!!
I loved the old Charlotte's web movie, it was a cartoon. " That some pig!!!"
Where they made the new movie I use to live just around the corner from there up in the bush!!

Beautiful dogs Tigerlilly. She has the most dazzling eyes.
Charlotte Web was one of my favourite books as a child. My other favourite was Anne of Green Gables great little series. And you should try the Lemony Snicket series a really great read. Other recommended reading is the The Black Stallion, Artemis Fowl series and if you are into fairies there are books by an author by the name of Daisy Meadows all about different fairies. Enid Blyton and Ann Bryant are also some other authors to try. Sorry better stop there I am the librarian for the town of Calliope out here so if you want to know any authors or what type of books you like I can get a list for you.
We all like reading on this forum, I just finished reading Harry Potter and the half blood prince. And now I am on some boring subject matter about the history of China and the influences that the outside world had on the country. Sounds boring doesn't it?
Keep us posted on how everything is going in your world.

I love the Tashi series too. Mum said she will get me Anne of Green Gables when I finish Charlottes Web. She remembers it being one of her favorite books too. Thank you everyone I will keep you posted. I am going to Coffs Harbour this weekend which is 5 hours away. I have to sit in the back with my little brother so I hope he falls asleep. I am doing athletics there but I will hopefully get to see the big banana to.

I spent many years getting over Anne of Green Gables - I was totally dissatisfied with being me and wanted to be her (and then Rilla, her daughter). It's also took me a long time to accept that whatever Anne said about them, I actually do like Zinnias.

Click to view attachmentHi I am back from Coffs Harbour Regional Athletics. I tried hard but didn't do very well.
Sheepworker Ellie is by Hunterslea Gundy and Hunterslea Nell. My friend Enid gave her to us when our other Koolie Nelson died. Ellie is a full sister to Nelson. He had blue eyes too. He was really smart and would jump on the trampolene by himself. He was funny.
Mum is going to take me and Ellie to ajility but Ellie doesnt always do what I tell her. She tries to work our horses but Banjo who is my horse tries to jump on her all the time. He broke Lass's leg a few years ago. He hates dogs.
I will definatly keep reading but I like being outside to. Oh I saw Cathy Freeman today on the way home and she signed my shirt.

Too cool Cathy Freeman would be one person I'd love to meet, she has been so inspirational in Athletics.
It's never about the glory just about being part of it all and doing your best.
I'll bet you did your best, so you can be very proud you were part of all that excitment.
What did you participate in, swimming, running?
Ann of Green Gables should be every young girls required reading, she motivates you to have a good mind and still have a good heart.
I read of her and then watched her and truly believed I was so like her, I was even fortunate to have red hair like her, and I believe I wouldn't have ever willingly done many of the things I did growing up if I didn't aspire to be like her in everyway, including being out spoken, I don't think I have changed at all.
I still look out at the world through the eyes of the young and still believe there is nothing I can't do, and still get in over my head.
But what a journey, I bet your friend Enid is just like that and your mum.

What a beautiful pony... I am sure that you have lots of fun with him. Do you ride much? I have four horses and try to ride most days, but the weather the last couple of weeks has been really wet.

Bango is a beautiful horse. You must be so very lucky to have him. I have a mare called Tink, her full name is Goldenlace Tinkerbelle. I have not gotten out to where she is for the last week, flooding has been a problem around here.
Don't worry too much about how you went, as long as you did your best that is the main thing. I used to do swimming, always came around the bottom end of the race but most of the time I improved my personal best. I would have been a great marathon swimmer, I was slow and steady. Do you do any other sports at all? And what is your favourite?

One of my sisters horses doesn't like dogs. She puts her head down, ears back and trots at them. She's normally a soft sensitive thing and it's so strange to see her do this. Once she 'deliberately' stood on a chicken and killed it - I wasn't there but my sister told me it was picking up food Gypsy had dropped and she gave some threat behaviour before she did it.
