I have been told to practice so i have.
There are around twenty meat hawks in our dead trees at the moment.
So I went and took a few snaps.
These are the best of them.
Photos do look good when your subject is perfect, even the blury ones were nice, but I really love these birds.

Great photos. I really like the first photo, brilliant shot. I saw a kite swoop down and grab a sparrow in my little backyard it was b***dy amazing. And my next thought "where the hell is my camera when I need it". What a fantastic opportunity to see them in action.

Thank you it is very diverting to watch them, so long as I know where all my cats and pups.
They are so cheeky that they will hover about three feet above your heads and look down on you, not in the least put off by our many barking dogs.

Well there is a first time for everything, great shots and what an opportunity to have so many "big" birds congregate together, must bring the camera next time I am over that way. More practice practice.

No I like to know how many look at my photos, this way I get a nice number.
I do love it when they get into double figures
