Hi, thought some Sydneysiders (I think Engadine is Sydney?) might be interested in these positions with ADA - they're looking for a puppy raising coordinator and a trainer.

Engadine definitely in Sydney!!!
Both sound interesting! Glad to see they are moving into the Sydney area!
Not to put a downer on it, however be aware that sometimes as a trainer you are not allowed or discouraged to have your own dogs as these can be a distraction to the dogs you are training if you have to train them in your own home. It doesn't state this in the job description but I have heard of it beforehand!
But please if you are interested in this sort of position don't let that put you off because it may not be the situation in this case. This is really valuable work and gives wheelchair bound people a huge amount of independence.

(and that dog jobs are not always as wonderful as they seem likely to be in advance...there's never (?rarely) enough money in a charity for you to be treated like you matter, and it's easy to burn out and end up resenting the dogs. And dealing with lots of dogs is not nearly as satisfying as being close to a few IMO - says the hopeful vet, who ran away with her tail between her legs when, in her last job, she started to find dogs irritating rather than interesting :-(
