This is my new puppy 'KOVU' he is a koolie x.
He is 11 weeks old and very cute.





They are not the best pix as my net is down at the moment so I am posting from work and using pix from my phone.

Sorry TJ my car needed new tires and I could not get it in for new ones until the monday(they were bald on the inside and the wire had just started to poke through :O......... are you going to the next one?I will be touch wood.

Peejy not 100% sure could be koolie,kelpie or a cavi( the house dog) he is from their best worker though.

Peejy a bit of both I saw the ad and rang up and he was around 5 hrs away and I could not get him as I had too many thing I could not pospone(?sp) but then the lady rang back and said she would bring him down in a couple of weeks as she was coming down this way if I wanted him so I said YES!!!

he is now 12 weeks old and knows sit,down,stay,come,speak and roll over so far!!
I cannot wait for the next Binalong to see if he will be a sheep dog too.

Hey good to see your all doing fine, will only be able to get up to the July workshop, they will holding a mock trial so i want to see what my girls are capable of.
That side shot looks like the Cavi maybe dad, oh well he's going to be cute that's for sure and smart.

Oooh he is so cute, sure looks a bit cavalier in the shape of his head and eyes. He looks very huggable!!

i will have to agree with all of the above he looks just so huggable. i had a cavi cross border collie and she was very very smart and was also very very huggable and i am sure his working side will kick in when he see's the sheep

Finally managed to get some better pix uploaded of Kovu,he is now 16 weeks old and knows sit,down,stay,come,speak,roll over,shake,wave and "bang" he is very smart and active but the best dog I have ever had.He went on his first outing to the Narooma oyster festival and I could have sold several koolies/rescues and have given out the website to everyone,hopefully we get some new members / koolie owners soon,maybe next year we could have a stand as there was a lot of intrest,anyway here are the pix

He is adorable. Good to hear that you got some interest with the rescues, you have your own little spokes person dog I should say. lol. I love his blue chip in his eye and Kovu sure sounds like a switched on puppy too.

he is just so sweet looking and remember cavi cross's are very very smart so start training him to bring in the mail now my cavi cross would bring it in to me she was a black and white girl cavi cross border and her name was shades

yep he is still very cute i think he will always stay that way but please keep him away from me i would be a sucker with those eyes and ears of his lol he could get away with murder with me i think i would belive anything he told me if he gave me that look! i am glad you live far far away hahaha!

He is turning into a right handsome little man. I think I would be the same as Royalla those eyes and the expression on his face, would suck me right in. He is lovely.

He is coming along well,we hope to be at Binalong and meet up with everyone.

After meeting Matilda I see a common simalarity between your last few dogs, you just love that big wide white band down their head, they all have it.
And I'll bet they all have that giant grin too.
Though I don't think the boys are as active as Matilda, here's hoping you to catch up with you as well in August.

well Kovu is now just over 24weeks and is a stunning youg man now.....I think I may be biased though???? .......he is a great little dog and will be meeting his first sheep on saturday at Binalong,It will be interesting to see if he tries to round them up or bolt in the oppisite direction (I place my bet on run away LOL).....

Well Kovu surprised me he actually had some instinct on what to do......I on the other hand was totally useless but had a great time and cannot wait to do it all again.

Hi all here is a recent pic of kovu, he is a good boy and loves his little sister,sometimes a bit too much.He is going really well with his training and hopefully will pass level 3 in obedience on the weekend.

sorry i have missed most of these post, but i just did a bit of quick reading and i am now up to date lol well i see he has kept those melt your heart eyes of his lol and way to go kovu he looks real good on the sheep and he will past level 3 no worries he just has to give your trainner that look of his with those eyes he could even con her into letting him past level four without lifting a paw lol

Kovu looks like a happy soul - is that a glint of mischief I see in his eyes though??!!!lol
