I need help zpls.gif does anyone know where to get a copy of Control Unleashed by Leslie McDevitt. Been looking every where but can't find one in SA, I even tried Kumalong books in NSW, on the net, got a book from there but not that one, any ideas.
Now back to having a little brag about my babys, as I said Izzi didn't graduate at the local school but so Pebbles could start Izzi went into the gr.2 class, after the class the instructor said Izzi was working well above grade 1 level ThumbUP.gif. Pebbles was put in the beginner class, near the end of class the instructor told us not to say "sit" when we halted, hell, sorry, I hadn't said sit once. Am I bragging to much yet, just a litle more & I'll stop for now, both Pebbles & Izzi are doing real well at Scholars in Collars & I've had some small break throughs with Izzi's barking. No more bragging this is a bit of doggy fashion. Now that the rain is, sort of, coming I try to keep the dogs dry, 30km is a long way in the rain cold.gif ,& dog rain coats are expensive so I made them one each out of bright orange rubbish bags. Used an ordinary coat for size, cut the corner off the bag & stapled the draw string to the top & tied around the dog, they look so beautiful, Paris Hilton eat your heart out d.gif.

Love the sound of those coats :-) Also glad that you're having some success with the barking, it's often a difficult problem to manage once it's started, requires a lot of commitment.

Agility Click (Yunde) in Ipswich (QLD) have CU, that's who I got mine from (Cathy is also a Koolie owner). http://www.agilityclick.com/category12_1.htm
and so do Dogwise http://www.dogwise.com/itemdetails.cfm?ID=DTB943

Hey if it works use the coats! At least you don't have to worry if the dog pulls them apart!! Want to see the pic though!!

I just received my copy of the book from Dogwise - took a week to 10 days to get here.

Glad to hear the barking is getting better. It can get annoying! Paxy went through a stage of barking madly at various things when inside the house! It seemed to be to me just to make a noise most of the time! Because it wasn't the "bow wow wow" at other dogs (that rapid bark) I marked it and she has learnt to "speak" now, we aren't proofed yet but we'll get there! I mean she does still bark when outside when she thinks something's strange but I don't get barked at inside anymore unless I ask for it. Although she does offer it sometimes if she thinks I'm asking for a behaviour! It's a very tentative woof though!

yes i have to work on mirra and dance they are both barking at night now most nights it's a the fearl tom cat thats been hanging around but some nights i think it's just for the heck of it so it must stop as all the big dogs stop barking but those two just keep going (little buggers) so starting from to night they will be inside the house until the tom has been and gone.

Paxy was barking outside this morning and it took me a little while to figure out what she was barking at. The garden had been tidied up the other day and exposed a length of black watering system pipe. This was up against a beige colourbond fence so quite contrasting. Paxy must have just noticed this and maybe it looked like a snake to her (you could only see about 1m of it) so she was making a lot of noise until I went up and touched it! Sometimes with her eyes it is hard to follow what she is looking at as it took me a little while to figure it out.

Thanks Bluedog & Kooliemum I'll get onto those sites after I've finished here.
If I put photos of my girls with their rain coats on I'll take no responsibility when all your dogs beg for one too zpls.gif , they're all the rage you know d.gif.
