You can hear your heart breaking with those words you have written. How come it is always the ones that mean the most to us that are taken too early in our lives. The grief and loss never really go away, to have one more moment with them would be bliss.

It's never time for them to go though, is it, however old they are? Sorry for your loss Karen. Losing her under such circumstances must have made it so much worse.

thanks, yeh doesn't matter how much time you have them for it could alwaysbe longer ....I rememner my daughters saying omg mum stop taking pics of her but I'm glad I did for the three years I had her and of course jellybean was three when she came home with me lol so she's going on for 5 now ..huckleberry was a puppy my daughter bought and i just did the obedience work with her ect so when daughter left home berry stayed with me, was the last type of dog i would of ever picked but turned out to be a blessing lol dogs go figure
So sad to loose a friend, but you have your memories, which are a small comfort, and she will always have a permanent place in your heart.
