Hi Everyone,
Just wanting to put the word out that I'm looking for a quality Merle short hair long legged koolie bitch for my male to go over.
Prefer of working background.
I do not have the time to buy a pup & wait minimum off 2 years then another 1 year to see if she has the working attributes for me to breed with & if she compliments my male.
The minimum age that I breed my bitches is 3 years.

My male is of solid coloring & well bRED:

SIRE- SILHOUTTE DIDGET
DAM- TJUKURPA NARLA

I am located on the Gold Coast.

Look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me out.

Cheers

Tjukurpa
Love to see a photo if you have one.
Is he working
What's his name
What's his colour.

We may have a female down here, going on three years, blue merle, short coat, pricked eared, 56cm long legs, strong colours, but may prove too strong for your male, you could produce mostly solids.
Have you thought about submitting his DNA and testing for the merle gene.
Even though he is solid he may still carry the gene, he would be better suited to her then.

She has instinct but hasn't been put to stock yet.

Hope you find one, I only have a solid bitch I'm considering rehoming.

No I havent had him DNA'd but would certainly consider it......how do I go about it?
I would love him to throw merle pups as that is what I'm hoping for in his offspring.
I work goats & pigs with him, mainly pigs tho. Dont have any pics of him working them tho, sorry.
I presumed that due to his dam being merle the possiblity of him throwing merle is rather high without him being DNA'd to determine if he has the gene?

Your bitch sounds nice...any pics?

I'm taking new photos of his sire tomorrow so will post a pic of him for you.

You can have the DNA collect by your Vet, tell him not to put it in any gell, just an envelope or back into the bag it came from and send it to the registrar with all his deatails along with a current photo and his micro-chip number for possitive ID and that's about it.

Don't expect it back over night though.
Tell me what colour the inside of his mouth is, it could help to give us some understanding of his potential.

I'll try to get some photo of the bitch as well, but you might have to bit little patient, i am kind of snowed under at the moment, but will get to it asap.

Thanks for the pic, he looks like his uncle or cousin Red in Qld out of Narla's 1/2 sister Titch.
And there's a couple more photos you may want to see of his family.

Breakers nana Dot passed away recently you can see her pic on the rainbow bridge, terrific old girl, miss her terribly, but it was quick and she felt nothing, and she was surrounded by those who loved her.
Not a bad way to pass on.
