Hi guys, just for those of you who want to know, Elmore training is not on tomorrow.
They have something on.
So training is on next Saturday and hopefully the weather will be nicer.

When is the next herding morning? I have lost track of things of late. Also what are the "offical" times (from and to) and is it $20.00 per person for everyone or is it a differant price for non members now.

There will be no training on the 2nd of August due to the Nsw Binalong weekend workshop, you who can't make it, I'll be sure to enjoy myself even more just for you.

Training will be on again 9th August from 9am till noon, $20 for members $30 non members
Limited number of spots available due to low number of sheep, 10 places only.
So book in early

Will there be training this Saturday?
I had a look at the weather and it is not looking to good.

If there is going to be training we will be there.

The Radar said we were to get rain today, we got some this morning but nothing since.
It's shining sunshine.
So we will look again Friday night, but fingers crossed we will be training.

With herding training can any day from group 5 attend or only the australian herding breeds???
Just wondering.............

We welcome all breeds who wish to work, not just get trained or pushed to do it, or just chase the stock around.
Hope that answers your question.

I know Brad only asked for working breeds and means those common breeds of Kelpie, border, ACD etc.
But we know that many breeds were traditional bred for work like the corgi, poodle, shepherd and that they can still show that instinct, if people wish to give their dogs the oportunity then I see no reason to deny them the chance.

But they need to understand that there is a big difference between a dog who wishes only to chase the stock and one who wants to work them.
It any dog is just chasing, then it's better off finding another activity, chasing can only lead to trouble and the owner must be satisfied with our decision, as it in the best interest of their dog and our stock.

Elmore training cancelled for Saturday September 6th

No training again as no committee are available Saturday 13th.

Hello everyone, sorry sheep training hasn't been available, but the good news is that there will training on the 20th, so see you all there bright and early and don't forget the Koolie meeting on the following Sunday.
What a great weekend to look forward to, can't wait.
But I'm off to Binalong this weekend.
We are all excited to get back to Brads and learn more to bring home and try to continue on with until November when we get to work with Brad again only in Qld and this time with cattle as well as sheep.
I might give the cows a miss, bit big for me.

I wont be up to herding next Saturday, need to go to obedience and most likely wont be up on Sunday either.

Me again - Just letting you know I came down with a terrible fever/sore throat/cold/flu/virus thing yesterday and can barely move, so unfortunately I will be unable to go to herding tomorrow.

We don't have access to Elmore at the moment
