Do you mean "Deuce" the Aussie Shepherd?? They do mention he looks different! Whatever he is, as all pups, very cute, especially with the tongue sticking out! Can't find Toad though.

Found him and yes he is very cute! (He's Friday's dog) Why the name Toad though when he's so pretty, although their other dog is called Turkey so I guess they have Toad and Turkey - not very appetizing I have to say!! lol

ETA: just reread it and Toad is a girl! Shame on that name!!

Call me crazy...well most people do. But I think there is a bit of welsh corgi in the mix, or am I just imagining things. The last photo was what pipped it for me and was trying to remember where I have seen those shaped ears before, on a corgi.
