Hey everyone
I thought i would write and say hello to everyone and introduce myself as I am only new.
My name is Kayla and i live in Heathcote on 10 acres, I recently purchased my first Koolie puppy from Tjukurpa Koolies, she is currently 9 weeks old and is a little Merle Female. She is so cute and loves affection. Of course she is flat out and requires a lot of attention but has brought so much fun into the household.
When we were kids my grandfather had a Koolie and I have always wanted one so when we purchase our new house I thought there was no time like the present.
Once she has had her second vaccanations she will start attending Agility training in Broadford and ideally she will start working sheep as soon as the opportunity to take her out arises.
I will post some new pictures of Libby on her shortly.
Cheers
Kayla

You will enjoy it here. Now we are all expecting photos of little Libby and soon. Enjoy her puppyhood as it is so fleeting, it is funny how certain breeds stick to our hearts. I like high energy dogs and I certainly have them. Join in on any discussions going on in here everybody's opinions count on this forum.

Hey Kayla great to see your here, sorry I'm late, been playing with sheep in Nsw and only just got home.
Let me add my own big welcome to you, I know you are going to love it here, there are so many to chat to and get to know.
Now the training day at Elmore is this Saturday, I will be taking Libby's sisters along for their first look at sheep, hope you can drop over and meet the crew.
Look forward to seeing those pics.

Welcome from New Zealand too!
I'm Penny, and I'm pretty new to the Koolie world, only found out about them a couple of years ago. I have a Tjukurpa puppy too, one of Indy's babies. (7 months old) His name is Dice, he was Gerema when he was tiny, born in the bush on Australia day! :-)
I love him so much, I'm already planning my next Koolie! :-p
I reckon I found the right breed. You're going to have fun doing agility with Libby, I am heavily into agility, and Dice has been quick to pick up puppy agility so far. He has lots of speed and enthusiasm.
He also has a wonderful soft temperement, no sign of entire male aggression at all yet... loves all other dogs, and pretty much all people too! He has enough confidence to try all sorts of things and not freak out about weird stuff I ask him to do.
I'm sure Libby will be lovely too :-)

Yep, this is my Dice and one of my Welsh Springers, Ashley. Yes, Dice's markings are very much like uncle Snowy's but of course he's younger and smaller. :-)He doesn't have as fluffy a coat yet either, I kinda hope it stays more or less how it is, I like it now, - long enough to be interesting, short enough to be no maintenance! Oh yes, and dice has two beautiful blue eyes. They look alike enough to be father and son. :-)
