Wow, Izzi & Pebbles thought all their xmases had come at once today, we had to move 2 pens of BIG pigs to the other side of the yards today, not just to the next pen like usual. Talk about gutsy Izzi took them head on & didn't even flinch when she got run over a couple of times, kept a close eye on them both & JC was there to lend a hand as well so no one got hurt. Even though Pebbles was a city/show girl she never backed down either but she gets in the middle of it all & runs with the pigs then comes back for the rest. I think if Izzi was trained up she'd make a great little worker & would be pure guts

, to bad I don't have the work for her. Also got told there might be an agility school starting some where close to us by the end of the year & will be run by a very good trainer as well

, can't wait.

I'll give you a little hint, PHEEEEEEW X 3

, of course when we get home they are

access to the house LOL.
I'm all excited at the moment, we've just been given some agility, weaving & jump poles & a tunnel, it's a bit of ducting pipe but does the same job. Pebbles, Izzi & even JC will love it & I've been shown how to teach the dogs to weave, so we're on our way. I was shown how to let the dog work out how to weave for it's self all I do is click & reward when they do, both Pebbles & Izzi only took about 10min to work out the treat happened when they walked between the poles. Sorry I'm rambling on but I'm looking forward to doing things with the girls, need some thing to keep them occupied after the 100km walk

, all are jumping out their skin at the moment so if I don't have an out let they'll tear the place to pieces LOL

A 100km walk ? there is only one place you would find me after that and thats 6 foot under lol i won't even walk into town and thats only 6kms away but 4 of that is a great big hill, now if it was all nice and flat and there was room off the side of the road i would give it a go in the winter my heart would not take in the summer lol it's great getting old your body just falls apart a round you. your girls sound like they had fun with the pigs but arn't you scarried that the pigs won't bite them i know tthat a pig can crush bones like twigs with there jaws sorry pigs scare me more then the cattle do lol and goats are just under cows they have evil eyes and they really hurt when they headbutt you lol i will just stick to dogs horse's and sheep and let my dogs play with the cattle

I think it shows the versatility and courage of the dogs to be able to tackle pigs! Although I too am not that fond of pigs - in my experience (which isn't huge I must admit) if they want to go somewhere they will and they don't care if you are in the road! Was it George Clooney used to have a pot bellied pig? Imagine what they could do to your garden!lol
When do you do your 100km walk? I've been thinking of doing a 12km walk in Sept - but have to see how my feet are first, like Royalla says the body is getting old! Would probably help if some weight came off though!

100km that is to the next biggest town here, OMG! My knee would give out before then, I have to tape it to do agility. Past netball injuries catching up to me.
It is exciting about the agility equipment it is expensive to buy new or second hand. I am so very excited for you, you will have a ball with it. My two are flourishing with it and I love doing it, but oh the consequences the next day, my back is sore, my knee hurts but it is so worth it, to see my two loving it and flourishing. HAVE FUN!!

The 100km walk is in October, & at 48 I'm the junior of the team god I love the sound of that LOL, we're hoping to do it in 23hrs because we finished in 24 1/2 hrs last year & it's a charity walk. JC did 60km last year & even though she's just turned 11 doesn't seem to be slowing down one bit.
A pig could bite a dog in half very easily, but these have been handled since birth & will still run straight through or over you, but aren't likely to bite unless they get pushed to hard & I keep an eye on what Pebbles & Izzi are doing, don't have to watch JC she's an old hand now.

Our Iris worked pigs when she was younger but with her breeders not us.
With us she just gets sheep, that might be why the sheep aren't enough for her, she is very fast and some times runs past them cause she can't stop.
Have a ball with the Agility, we were fortunate to purchase a full trial set, this year, but as everything is up in the air over moving and traveling, I haven't had much of a chance to play with it.
Once the weather fines up again and things settle down, you won't get me off it.
Note to self must lose ton of weight or knees, back and neck will retire and you will not be able to have any fun.
SWIMMING AND WALKING HERE I COME.

the answer is lots of walking but not 100kms lol and no chocolate, cake, lollies and no takeaway grilled meat only three times a week rest of the week fish lots of veggies but only boiled spuds not mashed and two eggs per week one slice of bread per day not white with out butter or marg. Well thats the diet that i have to live by for the rest of my life, which won't be that long as i break every rule there i hate fish, boiled spuds unless they have white sauce on them and you can't make a sandwich with one slice of bread. and the meat that i am aloud to eat is beef and my bank account says nope its got to be chicken or sausages and besides i am not a big fan of grilled steak love it in a pot roast, stew or braised the 3 ways i am not allowed to eat it lol. and i forgot i am not allowed cheese and i can only have low fat milk. and what am i having for tea tonight beef lasagne hot chips(low cal)and salad so two out of three ain't bad
