Geez pound staff come up with some weird and unhelpful ways to describe dogs don't they.
sharongmur
Poor little girl. Sheree, if I can help out, let me know. I can't get up to Canberra because of the kids but if you need a foster carer for her, I would love to do it.
Ceejay
She is beautiful, such a dainty little lady. For the future when we get bigger land, is Queensland too far away for being a foster carer at all? I cannot do it at the moment due to council by-laws I am at my maximum number of dogs now. I hope she gets a forever home, she looks very sweet.

She may need a bit of work before rehoming though ,but if you feel you are up for the challange to help her that would be great.... this is what little info I have of her at this stage.

"my heart was breaking for Yard 34. A pretty little tricoloured pup as far as I could make out and terrified of being in the pound. The ranger said she had been given up only recently so would not be able to go to rescue for another week. As soon as I went near the front of the cage she would run straight to the back and no amount of coxing would bring her forward"(quote from DOL member)

I am waiting to hear from TJ and I will be in canberra on sunday,I will pick her up then if needed and bring her back here,I will get her vet work done on monday 1st then organise transport to you if you like, just PM me where you are so I can organise it.

BUT need to wait for TJ's ok before I go any further.

OK it is all fixed - we have put our name down for her, she will be getting her microchip and vaccinations tomorrow and I can pick her up on Saturday. I must admit I am in two minds about actually paying her release fee and getting her out sooner. Sheree will pick her up on Sunday.

Big thanks and much appreciation to scouserdogs extra large heart and deep pockets, she is paying for her and picking her up tomorrow.
She couldn't stand the thought of this little girl being out in the cold.

scouserdog will not be able to hold her for long, so sharongmur if your offer to foster is still standing then, could you send a pm to scourerdog to let you know when the little one will be ready to leave.

She has to have all her medical needs seen to before she is picked up tomorrow, and scouserdog may wish to hold her until her stitches are removed, but talk with her to know more.

Sheree e4 I hope I get in touch with you before you read about all the arrangments written here, sorry if I miss you and thank you for your efforts on her behalf.

Ceejay when you get settled you let us know, we are always looking for fosters and vollunteers.

Thanks to everyone working for this special girl, it's bad enough when we step in for adults but it just criminal when it is a pup.

We owe you more than just our thanks scouserdog.

Koolie Rescues are always welcome with me, however, the distance to my place is even worse than Ceejay, but if ever the need comes up just yell.

This girl found a home today - we did not need to rescue her Pup.gif
Ceejay
Excellent news. I hope she is going to be well loved.
sharongmur
I'm glad she's found a home. I was looking forward to her coming to stay with us though. I suppose my husband will be relieved because once here I probably would have wanted to keep her.
scouserdog
I think Perry was extremely relieved that she did not need to come and stay with us. The guys at the pound are confident that she has gone to a good home and will be much loved.
