Hi Guys
Well just finished the obedience at the Royal Show. My border collie was having a couple of blonde moments but still managed to qualify in both classes. Ud 184 points and third and 183 points in open. Baby Gabby was in tonight and worked a dream. She got her second leg in novice with a great score of 197 points and first place and also won the highest scoring novice dog and bitch and won this beautiful trophy. also won 15 kg of "advance biscuits" and a jacket. Only have one more leg to go

Saw your name in the Advertiser, always check results if I know anyone going to the Royal. This year I've been looking through the dogs, horses & cattle. Been a long time since we've been there, I use to show Nuggett in the breed section. Where & when are the trials Gabby's enterd in, if possible I'd like to come & watch.

The 5th & 12th of October I can make it if you could let me know where to go, notice I didn't say "tell me where to go" thought that would be asking for trouble d.gif. hope you got my PM it's the first time I've sent one.

Hi Dogz6
Ok the 5th October is SAODC grounds.
Club grounds Beaumont Road South Parklands
It's opposite the Victoria Racecourse It starts 10.00 am
Dont go down Green hill road its too hard but go down South Tce I think its called and you turn right where the Race course is at the end. If you dont hit the racecourse your on the wrong road LOL
12 October is at Dover Gardens and that is on Quick Road Mitchell Park Go along Marion Road and turn on the road where the BP station and the Marion Pub is. That one I will be busy as I will have 6 classes and we are normally finished by lunch time.
SAODC is going to be a bit more relaxed I hope LOL
I'm the one with red hair one crazy coolie a quiet border collie and a noisy coolie LOL
cheers

Well hope to see you at one if not both of the days, if you look too busy we'll just watch. Want to see what the rules are & one day do at least one trial with Pebbles. I've got a SACA "Obedience Proficiency Certificate" from 1999 when I took Dova to Norlunga, the judge was A Rumble, won't mention JC she just stood & watched me do it, the little treasure haha.gif. Any way the point of the story is that was a long time ago & things tend to change in that time. We've got a couple of problems to sort out, the main one, Pebbles won't stand for examination, she's a bit shy & moves away. Looking forward to seeing you there.
dannimilo
Hi Dogz6
Gee were you trialing than I was probably trialing than as well. I would have trialed my kelpie Milo or a Jack Russell Terrier called Rambo. We dont have proficiency anymore. You can enter whenever you like they have a new class called CCD which you would have seen with Gabby Dover Trial. Little bit of heelwork stand for exam all on lead.(stand for exam they just got once on the back very lightly nothing like it use to be) and short recall. 1 min sit stay and 3 min drop stay.
Come and say hi anyway.
A. Rumble is still judging and so is her husband Dave. What a small world LOL
cheers

Looking forward to meeting you, but remember you invited me & I tend to talk so be warned rolleyes.gif, can I ask lots of questions about trialing, I know nothing. I'll bring my 3 for a look, all have had their shots, wormed, desexed etc dogwalk.gif.

Hi Danni
Finally got on the computer and saw your latest video, now are you sure I can't substitute her for Ash in his first trial on the 5th Oct am sure Keith won't pick the difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always lovely to watch, just hope her brother is half as good! Still a 50/50 chance for his stand for examination, just toooooo friendly.

Dogz6 be great to see you there and hope to see you competing soon.

Cheers

I've seen Danni in photos so sort of know who to look for, how will I pick you in the crowd Linda, be easy to see me I'll have 3 dogs & talk a lot LOL, looking forward to meeting you. I'm hoping to be able to fix Pebbles stand for examination problem, she's to shy & moves away, or we'll never get to compete. Pebbles can do every thing else, I can get her to sit, drop or stand from 12' away or drop in a recall, but she just doesn't stand for examination, ah well one day I hope.
dannimilo
Hi Dogz6
You'll probably find Gabby's twin and she probably will be hanging around where I am most probably. You wont miss us LOL
cheers
