Well 12 months ago today Phoenix was dumped at the RSPCA Burwood with his sister. He was kindly rescued by Koolie rescue and I was to be his foster carer. Well he is still living with us. Today we celerbrated his "rebirth" day. He go up this morning and got into bed with his Dad and we gave him all his presents. He got a new bed, a new soft footy and a new halti and lead to match. He was exciting but 7am is just too early for Phoenix who doesn't like to be up before 8am. After all the excitment he just went back to sleep with his head under my pillow.
Phoenix is now loved with a Mum, Dad and two fur sisters. He attends dog school each week and has managed to get to grade 3 even though he doesn't like strange people touching him. He is a healthy 20kg unlike the 15kg he came to us as. He loves herding and has even managed to get two titles.
Thank you to Koolie Rescue who brought his to us and helped us with him.

Thanks everyone!!
No, as he is registered with the Koolie Club as Buckley's Phoenix the VCA said I had to keep that name even if I changed it with the Koolie Club so he is registered as an Assosicate. Not that it mattered he had his man hood off already!!!! d.gif

That's great, to celebrate his rebirth day :-)

It's really good to hear a follow up to how a rescue is getting on.
