After reading everyone elses brags I'm almost not game to put mine on, but here it is, Pebbles graduated last Sunday &, here's the brag bit, she got best dog in class . I also put her in the grade 4 class because I had to leave early & she worked as well as any of the grade 4's. I'm looking forward to trying obedience trials next year. Maybe you could give me some pointers Danni , I got no idea what I'm doing & need all the help I can get. Izzi's doing well too but Obedience work is not her thing, she gets bored, needs more excitment .

You did see what to do in CCD when you came down. Very easy all that is required is to do a small heelwork pattern slow normal and fast pace sit stand drop left and right turn and left and right about turn and figure 8. Make sure sits stands and drops are straight. Stand for exam judge just lightly goes over dog and short recall and you return to dog and sit and drop stay. You can start teaching the dumbell getting your dog to drop near you dont practice drop on recall formally though. There are lots of things you can do

Evrything! ok not quite everything, if we lived closer I get you to watch me do a run through & tell me what I need to work on. Pebbles has done some good stands for exam. & I'll keep working on every thing else. Unfortunately it's all new to me & I'm going to be nervous, I can do dressage no problem but not sure about Obedience trials.
Pebbles got a certificate I'll get Bill to put a photo on as soon as I get one.

I've got a bit more to add to my brag. I wrote a letter to Dogs Life magazine about JC doing her 70km walk & it's suppose to be going in issue no 94 coming out in February. Dogs Life had an "Older Dogs Special" so I had to write about JC & made a point of saying she is a Koolie & sent a photo. Now we have to wait till February .

I'll have to remember to buy that issue! National coverage!!! Go Koolies!!

We had graduation again on Sunday & Pebbles passed to grade 4. But wait there's more , we walked in the local Xmas parade on Saturday & even with all the pipe bands, sirens & popping balloons Izzi & Pebbles had a great time. Izzi almost had her head hugged off by a boy in a pram, he loved her & she didn't mind a bit . Danni are you a member of the Dova obedience club, I'm thinking about joining another one but don't know much about the Adelaide clubs.
