Weeellll Harley (Tilly's Grandaughter??) may be pregnant as well, but we are not so sure about her.
She only comes in season every 12 months so when she came in the same time as Pixie it was oh well we will see. The vet has told me that as she has an abnormal cycle and that may indicate fertility issues, so it is a bit of a gamble for her.
The father of Pixie's puppies is Kirrakai Stormboy and Harley's is Sheringa Rocco.
So I am hoping for small litters like Kelsey!!

i can't wait to see Pixie's x storm pups and Harley x Rocco pups i have always liked pixie but Rocco i love him, he can really pull the heart strings such a beautiful boy so i am looking forward to seeing both litters
and can i add that after putting up with Ice and her morning sickness i am also very confident to announce that she is pregnant and summa is growing a very nice waist line so i think i am also safe to say she has some little buns in the oven as well and i am very please to say that dance is not she is just having a phantom and is just very fat thank god as she did get out of the pens a couple of times i had to chain her up in the pen in the back yard to keep her away from the boys in the side yard god she was a randy little pain in the butt lol and my little westie was even more hell bent trying to get to red so i sent her away to a boarding kennel that breeds westies so i also have a litter of westie due in between ice and summa lol i am really going to be over pups after this.

Pixie is going great she has taken after her mother Chevy in that she eats everything in sight, I keep waiting for that russell in the middle of the night to indicate that she is up on the kitchen bench looking for scraps!! but Pixie is too polite for that!! Chevy was a real demon for food stealing when she was pregnant and nothing was sacred.

ooh cannot wait, Ceejay's sire was Didget, and he was solid black too. Beautiful. You may get black and red's, and blues with this litter, it is like Christmas you don't know what to expect. hehe.
I had to laugh about the scrap foraging, Izzy my kelpie x is a notorious scrap stealer off benches and can smell ham through solid glass doors.

This could be interesting!! He's a nice looking boy. Paxy is a benchsurfer but she's not very good at being quiet about it. She tries but she gets caught out nearly every time. We've learnt to put things at the back of the bench out of reach of her paws just in case we're not fast enough!

We suspect (but has been unconfirmed) that Pixie is a double merle which is why we have crossed her with a very safe solid. I could not find a definate solid chocolate so black was next choice.

Oooh extended family, Digit is out of Tilly's first litter and half brother to the father of this litter. He looks a lot like his dad. A very good idea to go for solid! Look forward to seeing the results.

My dogs are allowed inside and where ever they want!! unless it is raining. Sometimes it is a matter of floor space, with fourteen dogs they take up a bit of room laying about the place. I have a 1 bedroom unit in a shed house so not much space.
Some are more house dogs than others and Pixie has decided that she has now become a house dog and is quite content to just lay around on the couch or lolling about on my bed.

haha JackieH, that does sound a bit snug lol
raz can come in the house he is not allowed on the carpet except for the bedroom where he sleeps and he comes up on our bed for cuddles, only when we give him permission, lol, he is a very good boy :)

yes Ice just became a house dog today she will now live inside with me until her pups are old enough to stay outside she will have her babies in the spare room and when they are 2 weeks old i will move them out to the back room so summa can then have that room for her babies it's a very dark room so the girls like it. and it's much better then trying to get them out from under the black shed and besides the frosts are due to start very soon in fact i think we had a very light one this morning. Ice thinks she is in heaven she has claimed my bed already but i kicked her of pretty quickly when i got a wiff of her

lol but she has had a bath today so all nice and clean and no more smell

Pixie looks so comfortable on the couch! Is she much of a talker? Paxy does these enormous groans sometimes when she's lying down, it's very cute. It's like an exhalation of stress and letting it all go! So when do you think her bubs are due?

Our guys live in the house with us and are allowed on the lounges. Bella has claimed a single lounge chair as her own. When we first got Bella she was an outside dog only but we could never go back to that we like having them in side with us.

Yeah, my guys are exclusively house dogs, I don't even have any outside accommodation for them. :-) They have one sofa, we have the other...
and never the twain shall meet.
They were allowed on my bed until recently, but I finally got tired (after 6 years) of Ashley making nests in my pillows, after she did it one day when she was WET! and had DIRTY PAWS. NOT IMPRESSED I wasn't. Now I have a gate in my bedroom door. and they only come on it when I go to bed, for a cuddle.
Ash is a good jumper - odd that, after 5 years of agility training :-p - and jumped over the gate when I put it in the hall, one morning when they were all wet. So it's really a token gesture, but it seems to work. I told her off for jumping it, and she didn't try again.
When the girls had pups, they had to live out in the laundry, but I set it all up with luxury whelping area, heater, draught proof, kept it at 18 degrees so the babies didn't get cold... despite being house dogs, both Ashley and Sherry were quite happy to stay out with their babies until they were weaning them. :-)

Yes well I have had a few issues with wet dogs on the bed, but they seem to know now that the bedroom is out of bounds when they are muddy. Bones are a problem, they think that TV time is a good time to catch up on those old bones that they had forgotten about!!
You learn so much about their personalities when they hang about with you.

I designed the house with dogs in mind. The architrave is smooth, so easy clean, so is the paint, floors are the hard vinyl timber look, carpets are high density carpets that you find in offices, with no loops so claws cannot rip. We bought the land and designed the house with dogs in mind. lol. Oh dear that is sad isn't it.
Ceejay mostly sleeps outside on her raised bed, Izzy is a woman of luxury prefers the couch inside. Ceejay does come inside when it is raining, but she seems to prefer outside at night. If I have a nap during the day, Ceejay then snuggles up beside me, she is a great snuggler, except when her cold nose finds skin on my back. lol. She is a groaner, moaner, and she does this thing on her side and looks like she is digging on her side and does all these funny noises. So Paxy is not alone there.
I have always had dogs inside, they respond better to you, in my opinion.
You should hear the echo when Izzy howls inside. She has the greeting howl, the happy howl and the yawning howl. Not funny at 2am when partner is coming home from work, her howling and OH giggling and going shhhhh loudly.
Would not have it any other way.

I do agree in that you bond more with your pup when they are allowed in the house. And you do learn so much about them their personalities, what they love/hate (crate)
My husband only wanted an outside dog...so we bought raz thinking that way. But i convinced him that we should let him in as a baby :) because i felt bad locking him out :( I think it didnt take long and hubby finally realised that we had an inside dog :) so raz basically lives inside with me when i get home from work at about midday. He snoozes on the rug next to me all arvo till he gets active at about 3pm then he wanders outside, to play. then i normally take him to the park about 4pm to train then play in the off leash area till about 5.30 we come home he plays or sleeps, he gets dinner at about 7.30 then he sleeps on the mat next to us while we watch tv. then he gets a cuddle on the bed before he goes in his crate to sleep.
He has stopped whingeing almost completely (knock on wood) but he continues to shred his blanket :/

Congratulations on the puppies. With a beautiful mum like Pixie and a handsome dad like Storm, you are sure to get an awesome litter. I can't wait to see pictures of them.
We have an area for Mac inside, in the laundry. When I'm home alone with him he is quite content to stay there, close to mum. Me and my shadow
Mac is allowed to come and go, but he sleeps outside, well, actually under our house. We fenced an area under the house, put some carpet down and put a kennel under there too. On really frosty mornings when we used go down and say 'Morning' to our old dog Lucky, it used to be warmer under there than up in the house. I'm sure he wouldn't have minded the extra company if one of us had snuggled up with him.

i have a crowded house today inside i have spice, ice, ren, boo, shandy, dance, mocca and gypsy i only wanted shandy inside as she is on meds for the hormonal mites so i take it she is coming into her first season very soon, spice had the same thing on her first season well it started about six weeks before she came on heat so it will probably be about the same for shans. i am going to try and get a nice pic of Ice's belly today she is getting very big now, i would say she is carrying about 7 pups and her eating has slowly been getting better thank god i have never seen a dog with morning sickness as bad as she had it or for as long lol poor Ice, summa is just starting to get a bit of a pod and is starting to fill out now.
