Everyone,

I have finally managed to join up and thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Katrina and I am the soon to be owner of a beautiful Tjukurpa Koolie pup we have named Boz.
He is only about 2 weeks old but I am hanging for October when I finally get to pick him up!

We have a 4yr Kelpie x Border Collie girl and here's hoping they like each other!!

Looking forward to seeing all the posts and piccies of everyone's gorgeous dogs.

I have a koolie x border collie who is just over 1 now I cant wait to hear about you're experience with you're new pup, i am curious to see if you find them (both you're dogs) terribly different to raise (im a curious person)

Hi Treen, I am new here as well and it looks like we are in the same situation. I am also getting a puppy from Kerrie so it might be Boz's litter sister. We are going to call her Bug and like you cant wait until October. Maybe we can compare notes/photos as they grow up.

Which little girl did you pick? I saw the photos of the two litters.
Diamond's litter was all boys which Boz is coming from and Sassie's litter was 2 of each i think.
The little girls were so beautiful!!

Bug is such a cute name and it sounds a bit mischievous too i reckon :-)

Definitely have to compare notes and photos of them as they grow.

yes I think I should have gone something soft and gentle instead! They say to be careful in how you name them. I like Boz as well and that also sounds mischievous. One of my other dogs is called Ben so I will have Ben and Bug ( my very own B & B ).

I had to have a girl so I chose the Grey/Black merle which is actually the exact colour I would have loved so I am very happy. Which one is Boz?

Now we wait..............lol

I remember her pic...she is absolutely gorgeous!!

I would have loved another girl but the vet said to pick a boy and my partner loved the name Boz so he named him.

We researched Koolies a lot before making a decision and I reckon we have made the right one...an awesome choice in fact!

He is the one I had my eye on if I wasnt after a girl. He is adorable. I have no idea yet on collection. still so far away but I am oh so ready. I sent you a Private message as well.

You guys will love it here and you will pick up lots of hints. If you have any questions at all with helping raise/correct or wonder what that weird behaviour is about just ask. Koolies are the greatest dogs to have around, I came across the breed quite by accident and have never regretted it. Welcome to the friendliest bunch of forum people.

Bet you guys are counting down the days to pick up your puppies and remember piccies please when they do come home!!

Welcome to the forum, looks like you are a really koolie person already and getting into it. Hope you have a great time with you gorgeous pup. I think that is the litter Kerrie tells me has some of our bloodline in it as well, so look forward to seeing we he grows up.

Boz is such a pretty boy! Just what I was looking for when I got my boy!
He'll be a stunner when he grows up :-)

He looks very similar to my Dice when he was that age! He grew up to be the best looking Koolie in the world!!!! Oh, hang on, I may be getting a tad carried away there. <grin> But he's definately the best looking Koolie in New Zealand!




Your boy has a bit more white on his face though :-) and less black on his face. Other than that, they are very alike :-)
Probably because Dice is a TJ puppy too LOL
Waiting is so hard eh! I remember...

I based my choice of the Koolie breed purely on research, since there weren't any over here in NZ, and I haven't regretted it for a moment.

well i am late again with the welcome bit but hay i am always late lol anyway a big welcome from me and my koolie hounds, enjoy they are the best breed of dogs put on this earth ok ok a bit carried away there but it's true lol

OMG!!! what a little cutie pie :) definately a stunner looks very cuddly, im constantly cuddlying raz, even though they arent tiny dogs, i think they make for the best cuddles
