So is Shandy just about due? Should be some nice looking pups ooking in there!!
Well Ren certainly has a certain raffish look now, with a tatty ear and different coloured eyes. As they always say it's your personality that counts, not your looks!!!!

Don't worry about the mould, it washes off, my dogs are so used to the rain and puddles and flooded creeks, Kenzie already motors through the flooded creek crossings, I nearly lost him over a little waterfall cause his feet didn't touch the ground like the others and the water was running too fast for him!! haha the look on his face. All Harley's puppies were used to the water because we had 25 inches in 7 days before the left home so they were quite at home paddling in the puddles.
It is nice to dry out at the moment, Mareeba seems to be copping the brunt of the summer storms... a nice change.

That certainly is a belly Shandy has!! She must be ready to pop. They are going to be gorgeous puppies with a dad like Coops.. he is a very handsome boy!
Poor Ren... good to see it has all healed well. She doesn't look too amused with having her photo taken

Glad that you are settling okay, we are also battling mosquitoes and squishy soil, we have moss and lichen growing on the ground at present. Ren now has that rough and ready look. Cannot wait to see Shandy's pups.

Glad to see you and your puppies are settled into your new abode, Royalla.
Now, I'm the first to admit I don't know much about preggas puppies,
but . . . Shandy looks like she could pop any moment. I can't wait to see the puppies. But I shall be patient, I shall.
Ren is still gorgeous even with her one and a half ears. Besides, it's personality that counts and we all know Koolies have heaps of that.

I love the two merles with the big white markings! mind you, the little god spot one is cute too. I would have loved to see a gold like Shandy in a merle, but never mind, they are lovely bubs :-)

mum and bubs are doing well, very hard to keep them in the crate the little buggers are crawling everywhere lol and shandy lets me know every time one of them exsapes from the crate she starts barking for me to come and put in back in, i told her this morning that she can pick them up herself and put them back but within 20 minutes she was barking for me again lol, sunday night was funny when she was in labour she was very vocal so i grabed a couple of pillows to sit on next to her crate thinking we would be hours yet anyway i tossed the pillows next to the crate and quickly made a cuppa and grabed my book to read while i was waiting for the real labour to start but when i got back to the hallway shandy had dragged one of the pillows into the crate with her and being a mean mum i took it back of her and sat on it but shandy came out of the crate and crawled onto my lap i was thinking she just wanted a cuddle but as soon as she laid down she started to push OK QUICK BACK IN THE CRATE GIRL lol and that was god spot the first to be born and almost on my lap hahaha

that is funny as!! She just wanted you to be there with her.. just not that close to the action! lol.

They are a beautiful litter, if I was looking for two pups I would definitely take one solid and one of the merles and I don't care which one, they are all beautiful and healthy and glossy. One day. Shandy just wanted to be close to you....maybe a bit too close, but at least you have that bond with her. I like how she lets you know that one of the pups is escaping. Very funny.

Feb 25 2010, 10:36 AM
yes i am still playing pup finder lol i have put a board up across the front of the crate to slow them down god the little shits are not even a week old yet and they are so mobile, and shandy has also taken to let me know when the pups are getting to hot it's like hay mum bring a wet towel now, i have them in the coolest place in the house but they still get hot between 1pm and 5pm so i have a fan blowing on them and put in the wet towel for them to lay on as soon as they start to get noisey or shandy tells me haha my days are ruled by a dog but i love it, i would never be without them.

We had the most amazing storm last night! Tennis ball size hail stones and torrential rain. came out of nowhere and was awesome to watch but not so good for properties.
We didn't get too much damage to the house which was good... two trees down and over the fences so that kept us busy on the chainsaws today.
Lost most of the meat in the freezer too as one phase of HV went down but a few bags of ice from the pub managed to salvage the rest.

This is normally our wet season but ssshhh it hasn't rained for a few days, everywhere else is getting it!! we haven't had anywhere near the amount of rain that we get through the course of our wet season that usually starts around early January through to April, sometimes May.

North Queensland ALWAYS has a wet season it just depends on how much. That is why my dogs are swimmers and the grass is always green in photos... it rains for months on end.
