We now have a page at an artistic and photography website called Red Bubble. This is a place where art, photos and T Shirts can be displayed and purchased. There are two sides to this for the Koolie enthusiast.

We can purchase cards, prints, framed prints, T Shirts and soon hoodies with Koolie artwork on them. There is a vast range of items, colours and sizes which are being expanded on a regular basis. This is a local company with a world wide presence that work out of Melbourne and Horsham. The quality of their printing is excellent and they deliver very promptly. All profit will be split equally between the club and Koolie Rescue. As buyers deal direct with the company the club does not need to hold stock or try to predict what people might want to buy. It is also open to the public to view and purchase. They are available world wide.
When you visit the site select a picture or T shirt you wish to see and click on it, it will open in a bigger size and on the right hand side will be a buy/preview button that will show you the options of how you can buy the item and the cost. Our starting prices are currently discounted for a starting special.

Unfortunately there are not a lot of items there at the moment, which brings us to the other side of the site. We invite all koolie owners and lovers to submit photos, artwork and T shirt designs to be displayed there on behalf of the club. If you have a picture of your own koolie you would like on one of these items please submit it you never know someone else might appreciate it just as much. This may be a great outlet for painters to also hone their skills and we have had several request for T Shirt designs to be available. Funny or serious all would be appreciated. It is requested by Red Bubble that only our best quality artwork be displayed so please aim for that unique photo or design.

So please take a look at Red Bubble - Koolie Club of Australia and get those creative juices flowing... If you have any artwork you would like to display please email to editor@australian-koolies.info larger files are prefered as quality becomes and issue if they are too small.

Just added a few more photos and a T Shirt design, steep learning curve there, I hope someone more artistic has a go. If anyone would like to try T shirt design they have a template which makes it a lot easier.
Also forgot there is a place for written work if anyone would like to add poems, short stories etc. A lot of people combine poems with photos for wall art as well.

Penny just download the T-Shirt template in the third post here then make your design on that as the dimentions are already correct. Email it to editor@australian-koolie.info and we will upload it onto the site. If you have a preference for a colour for it to be displayed in feel free to let us know. People can still order it in another colour.

How do you make your design on it? there doesn't seem to be anything that says "insert pic" or anything like that...

thats what happened to me as well.

Hi Treen, just scroll down the page and the Unisex sizes are given for chest measurement etc.

Just open it in a paint or photo program, click on their notes in the middle and delete them. Then go for your life, you can use the whole of the canvas to put what you like on it. The grey checks mean where you don't place anything will be clear. The main thing is the template presets the correct size of the canvas.

They are planning to add childrens sizes and singlets in the future. I have just asked if they would do plain old windcheaters as well.

Congrats treen, you are our first sale!!! Koolie Rescue and the club Thank You!! (Gosh I hope it comes out OK....) Yes those are ones I have muddled together with a lot of frustration and swearing!! In the midst of it I manage to clag up the photo program I use most and can't get it to open anymore, but it didn't want to give me a clear background so had do some in that then transfer to another program that would fix the background but wouldn't do the same effects as the first.

From the feedback I got you bought the painted blue merle...that is from a photo we took a couple of weeks ago of a dog we have just tried mating Tilly to, the program has several filters such as paint, charcoal, pencil. It is getting rather addictive playing with all the effects and then sitting there thinking "would I buy that?" Then chucking it and starting again.
With what I have bought before I expect the quality should be excellent. Please let us know....

I can't wait to get it! Then i can also give people an idea of how the size fits. I reckon it will be perfect snuggle size... can't have hoodies tight, they aren't comfy.

On another note... Dad is off to Texas today so i have put in an order for a EOS 7D if he sees one... they are about $1899 US for one with a lens which is heaps better than here.

Hey Sill, is it possible to put the club logo up there on a hoodie/shirt? the same art work that is on the stickers? That might look really nice on the back of a shirt or Navy hoodie if you didnt want to have a photo. It would be up to who ever has the art work to upload it though but I would buy one. Also ( brain thinking) a smaller version for the front of the T-shirts (pocket size)?

Yes that is once that I have been aiming for, will have to do a bit of work to get it there from what we have at the moment. At this stage you can print on the front OR the back only although they have hinted that may be possible later on. They are also going to do zip up hoodies.

I got my hoodie today Sil... very quick seeing as it said it was shipped on the 26th of March.

The colour is great, the logo looks fantastic and it fits/feels awesome.

I got a size Medium which is just about perfect.. I reckon a large would have been a bit too long.
For those wanting hoodies, i wear about a 10 in a normal top and a Medium hoodie fits me great.

I have attached a couple of photos so you can see what they come out like. They are awesome!

I have put the club logo up now and a colour version as well. I ordered one of each and one of the "Koolies Love Agility". They are a generous size and very nice feeling material (I just got T Shirts), the logos came out well but I will have to lighten the photo in the agility one as he is a dark pup and I don't think you can see enough detail. For anyone who can make it I will be taking them to the May meeting. I also ordered several cards and am very pleased with all of them the print quality is excellent and they only cost $2.30 each, the more you buy the cheaper they get.

My order arrived and am very pleased with the Ts with the logos but the photo on the Koolies Love Agility is too dark so I have removed that for the moment and will try and find a better one or fix it. I also ordered some cards and are very pleased with them, the quality is very good and cost was just over $2.50 each which is pretty cheap plus a discount for buying multiples.
I haven't assumed everyone is happy for their photos to go up there, but if you are happy for them to be used or have some particular ones in mind please let me know. Also if you are feeling a bit poetic with it we could do some posters.

After issues of my own, explorer 6 doesn't show the option to purchase any of the artwork on this site, switch to another browser and it will show buttons to choose what you want to purchase ie matt print, framed print etc.
Another tip is don't bother with the long sleeve t shirt at this stage, the sleeves are ridiculously long!

Like Sil said I would highly recommend NOT ordering the long sleeve shirt. I did and the sleeves have an extra 15 cm of fabric on each arm and look anything but flattering. RedBubble offered to replace the shirt with another one and I am very happy to say that my red short sleeve shirt with colour logo arrived today and is just brilliant.

RedBubble have just announced that all T Shirt designs can now be purchased as stickers. They are not specifically all weather design but someone in their office has had one on their car for 4 months and is still as good as new. They are vinyl and are supposed to be removable.

I bought a couple of T shirts to take to the last meeting, a black logo on white short sleeve and a colour logo on grey v neck. Both have printed very well and the quality of the garment is very good. I also bought 8 cards of 4 different designs and also very pleased with them, they were all snapped up by one our committee members they cost about $2.50 which is pretty cheap these days.

Has anyone had a go at T Shirt design? Would love to get some more up there.

Sizes are reasonably generous, the material is lovely. There are girly sizes as well as tradition T shirt size, V necks and long sleeves, but would go around long sleeves for now as micknmol had a disaster with hers the sleeves were far too long. There is a description and sizes if you scroll down the page when you click on buy/view button. I believe there will be tank tops coming, they may come out with something new before Christmas with luck.
