Wal Baker was euthanised yesterday evening. He had surgery a month ago to repair a hernia that we thought might strangulate and to remove a small lump from his mouth, and it seems that the anaesthetic, combined with his chronic liver disease, caused him to develop gastric ulceration and then encepalopathy. He was a great dog.

I'm so sorry to hear of Wal's passing. His loss will be deeply felt I'm sure. I always enjoyed reading (and watching) of the skills he learnt under your instructions and his various doings with you.
