Full Version: Echo "on the farm"
koolies - Coolies, One of the friendliest places on the Net... > Koolies > WebSites and Photos
Matt & Echo
I have finally gotten around to getting a photobucket account so I can post some photos that my friends wife took when Echo and I visited their farm near Ganmain in NSW a couple of months ago. This was the first time Echo had been in any of your typical farming situations and he did very well - just as you would expect from a Koolie.

Great photos and don't you both look right at home. Looks like you have the real deal there. Even the 'thoroughbred' shot is just so typical.

Love the photos... especially the one of hiding in the stubble!

That is a fantastic shot.. so creative.

Yes, my friends wife is quite the photographer. She does wedding photos etc on weekends and I am trying to convince her to take her camera to the dog events at the Ganmain show in August and snap a few pics as I think people would be willing to pay a few dollars for such great photos.

I want to get some of these framed and the one in the stubble would be the centre piece.

Dam you man! you got my dog! Now to cut Bugs legs off a little - just love his size. Great photos and glad you both enjoyed yourself. Poor Bug will never get the chance to be a REAL Koolie and will have to slum it with Rural residential life instead with a Border Collie as her "flock". I wont show her how much fun Echo had.

Yeah, but he's only been there the once and Bug has a great Mum that spends lots of time with him everyday. With both of us working flat out sometimes he is lucky to get any more than a morning biscut and an evening pat from me :-( although Andy does spend some time with them each afternoon.

Besides, I've seen video and photos of your 'slum' and I think Bug may not realise how good she has it!

Maybe you should get along to the next Binalong workshop - if you get her running enough maybe she will wear her legs down a little...?

true true. I shall remind her of this daily. Today she went for a long walk to the park, played Frisbee for 1/2 hour ( well she chased her flock) walked home, then went on a 20 minute bike ride and finished off with a play under the hose. I did think of coming to the camp but oldest skin kid turns 7 on the 16th, party on the 17th and apparently I am going on the Thomas the tank engine train on the 18th. Maybe next time though.
