Leonard wasn't a Koolie but he was a beautiful boy with so much love to give!
Boxer x Lab the vet said when my sister rescued him from a dingy backyard in western Melbourne as a 6 week old pup with his brother Edward.

Leonard died yesterday at 3am from cardiac arrest at 18 months of age.

Autopsy found a caner tumor in his chest which had metastasized to his lungs.
They think it was lymphoma developed as a puppy which has no symptoms until it is too late and too far developed.

Poor little mites heart couldn't keep up even with the aid of a ventilator.

Poor little guy, but at least he had 16 months of pure pleasure he might not have had otherwise. RIP Leonard.

Often the fire that burns brightest also burns fastest. Our thoughts are with all of Leonards family.

so very very sad for them. He was lucky to have such little time be quality time although still not fair.
