Red is a solid red with tan points Koolie, around 6 years old, his matured owners who have had him from 6 weeks, were forced to move off the land into smaller accommodations.
They didn't want to put Red into a small back yard after only knowing the farm, so they surrendered him to Koolie Rescues care.
Red is a very well mannered steady adult, who loves to run and be active.
The Koolie has a long healthy life, so 6 years is not old.
Red is good with other dogs and loves children and all people.
If you have lost a best mate recently and you or your other dog misses the company then Red would be a good choice.

Kristy is a blue Merle female around 2 years, very strong and will pull in a collar, but is perfect in a halti, tolerates other dogs, is good around cats, so long as they don't run, loves children and would suit someone who wants to spend time with a loving friend and go for good long walks daily, even camping would not be out of the question.

Kristy and Olli our second female rescue have been returned, not because of any fault with them, both owners have moved to Europe and can not take the animals with them. That two separate families for different reasons must rehome their Koolies because they must move to Europe is one crazy coincident, but in rescue you do get to hear your fair share of the weird and the wonderful.
Olli is a Koolie x, blue merle with a white undercoat, her last owner treated her so well and loved her so much that her new owners will just need to want to be with her all the time, take her on holidays, let her stay in the house on her own bed, take her for wonderful walks and play games with her, bath her regularly and give her so many hugs, because this is the life Olli has come to know.

He is a lovely chap, great gentle personality, loves to swim and be in your company.
His athletic rugged good looks make him great for those of you who wouldn't mind a little bit more security in their lives, mind you it is only looks, Roy is not aggressive.
Tolerates cats, gets on with other dogs, loves people all sizes.
The person who gives Roy a second chance will enjoy many hours with a dog and a big heart.
Ron was looking for a good steady adult dog and found just what he was looking for in Roy.
It just goes to show there is a home for everyone, Roy stayed with us for nearly two years, I am so happy for him.
Ron has left Roy in his will to Koolie rescue which I think is just wonderful that Ron thinks to much about his new best mate that he has made arrangements for him, in case anything happens.
Our second Rescued Koolie is Buddy, Blue merle, 12 months old.
Size 440mm

Buddy was surrendered by his owner who bought him from a breeder when he was 6 weeks old, she admitted he was a sympathy purchase, just couldn’t stand to leave the poor miserable baby in a horrible situation.
It could be possible, due to earlier trauma in his life why Buddy is nervous around men to the point of peeing.
I appreciate his owner surrendering him to us instead of placing him in the pound, she believed that she could not give Buddy all the love and attention he required as she now works full time and is just trying to adapt to life’s many changes and she didn't want to see him just left out in the yard.
At Koolie Rescue Buddy can take his time gaining his confidence, he is still very much a pup and we are confident that he will make the best companion, already he has settled in well, showing confidence around the other dogs and is happy to engage in play.
He does not wet around my husband which is a good sign.
Our Third Rescue is only 8 weeks old and a special needs Koolie.

This little trooper is deaf and I can tell you right now it does not handicap him in anyway.
Full of confidence, puppy curiosity and energy, his foster family are delighted with him and how he has fitted in with their other dogs and children, you wouldn't know he had special needs when he's running after the ball or wrestling with the bigger older dogs.
To discover if a rescue is for you, invite one to visit for 30 days, in that time you will know if you are right for each other, if not no harm done and we will always take Koolies back.
