Great idea.gif I want you all to share in these rescues good fortune and as more find their forever homes and caring families, I'll post them here because through your support and friendship we make a difference.

This is Olli she had been dumped, placed in a shelter, re-homed to the wrong couple who brought her to Koolie Rescue, where she stayed for five months went for a trial visit and was returned "not what they were looking for" and then finaly got discovered by the perfect family, made just for her, all Olli had to do was wait and she got her happy ending, now her owners are trainging her in Obedience and are thrilled with her progress and eagerly await the Koolie gathering to catch up with us and show us how well Olli has done, I too look forward to catching up with them all in February.
Check this post regularly to see the new re-homed. biggrin.gif

We are happy to announce Patch of Nsw has found his forever home, happily Patch was re-homed from the shelter. Niceparty.gif

I was assured by Jenny manager of the Southerland Shelter that they would do everything in their power to make sure Patch was matched up with new owners that would give him all the care and attention he required.

In his time with them, Patch who original was quite shaken upon his arrival and confinement and displayed upset and reserved tendencies, (like the majority of animals in a scary situation), had made friends with a gentle Kelpie, came to trust and even search out those who cared for him for pats and gradually came out of his shell.
This gave the shelter staff the confidence that he was up to being placed with his new owners.

To all of you who followed the progress of Patch and supported Koolie Rescue in our efforts in assisting Patch, I know you are as happy as we are with this wonderful news. eusadance.gif happy.gif

Job well done people another happy ending. Great idea.gif ThumbUP.gif

Trudy of Koolie Adoption Nsw has left her contact details at the Shelter and we will be sending our Koolie brochures to them for future rescues and those people who may be interested in learning more about our chosen terrific breed. prof.gif

We are happy to announce Ginger Megs of the ACT has found her forever home. Niceparty.gif
Happily Ginger Megs new owners drove over from SA, they started out at 4am this morning and brought Gingers new brother Charlie with them, also a rescue which they saved 12 months ago who had multiple broken ribs.
Both Koolies got on well and were happy to share the back of the station wagon.
Karen & Jack, are both into Obedience and being great owners, if all the pats and hugs they were happy to give both dogs were any indication Megs is going to be very happy.
And Megs couldn't get enough you could see she was ready to leave when she jumped into the back and wouldn't get out. ThumbUP.gif
Karen & Jack have promised to keep in touch and send lots of photos of their new girl with her family.
To catch up on Charlies life with Karen and Jack check out their site dedicated to him and now Ginger Megs.
