This is the first online forum I have ever joined. I am happy to say that it has been a pleasant experience which is as it should be.
From what I have been told (and seen) many online activities are filled with non productive bickering by people with toxic tongues armed with a poison pens.
Prior to the Internet, when a person had a difference of opinion and wanted to express it to someone else, he or she would have to sit down to communicate their ideas on paper, address an envelope, place a stamp on it and take it to the mailbox. Through that process, many letters were deep sixed. Sadly, today people are destroyed by the click of a mouse.
While growing up my parents kept a plaque in a walkway in our home. It said: "Keep your words soft and sweet. You never know from day to day which ones you will have to eat." More importantly, The words we speak can make a big difference in the lives of people around us, especially if they are constructive and encouraging. Toffee's statement at the end of his message is a good opportunity to reflect on why God blessed us with dogs. Daily, they greet us with an attitude of how can I serve you today. By creating dogs God Almighty has given us a daily example of unconditional love and forgiveness. They don't care if you have five cents or $500.00 in your pocket. Like that sign, they serve as a daily reminder of how we should treat others.
