You were'nt the best dog in the obediance ring
You were'nt the most friendly to other dogs either,
You chewed the seat belts in the back seat of the car as a pup
And too many bedsheets, did you rip up
The garden was a mass of holes,
Dug for beds and bones and who knows
You were our Tolly, through and through
Gentle with Rhiannon and guarding baby Liam too
They could do anything they wanted to you
Sitting upon you as you gnawed a bone,
Taking your biscuit as if their own
Laying beside you as in the shade you rested,
Chasing a ball for them as Jemma you always bested
The day you went
A piece of us left too
For there will never, ever be another one of you.
