Lawson had a weigh in at the vets today as I have crossed over to annual heartworm shots instead of monthly doses. He weighs in at 20.3kg!! Even the vet checked the scales as she could not see where the weight was in him. After checking the scales and re weighing at 20.4kg!!! She sighed, shook her head and said bring him in and get him on the table. Lawson heard the word "table" and as we are doing basic agility ( tunnel and weaving pegs only, he does know "table though) complied and jumped onto the examination table

Any way, most of you have seen him and know he is not overfed ( spoilt but not over fed) the vet checked him over and say he has excellent muscle tone and build for a not yet 12 month old dog and that "he must come from a very good line to have such a functional build at such a young age". She attibutes the weight to be muscle mass which weighs more than fat ( he has none). She thinks he will mass at about 22kgs as she thinks he has some growing to do yet
