OK after two hours of looking and reading last night at Robyn's i came across lots of white dogs with black eye/ear patches and black and tan patches on their body's like hunter sea's shy does anyone know what breed these dogs are. they are only referred to as well breed cattle dogs. also came across a lot of kelpies barbs and foxies one smooth collie and only one blue heeler and of course border collies. and two koolies one of them is defiantly a koolie the other mite be a badly marked blue heeler?. Well one more book to look through then the real reading stats but i won't have much time to do this as robyn will be heading home to Roma when the house is all packed up and finished.

Any chance of taking photos of the pages in the book? Particularly of the photos, because it is hard to know just what they might be. Shy is probably a homozygous merle (that is she has inherited the merle gene from both parents) and this often displays as large areas of white over the body and head (sometimes associated with blindness and deafness). It would help to know if the patches of colour are solid or merle.
