we are going to bundaberg's new year's eve ADAA comp and spice's first camping trip. well i am going to be very lazy this year as it is just me and the two girls i am just going to sleep in the back of my station wagon ? i don't think that i will get that much sleep with spice. not with her licking and her bad habit of just sitting or laying on gypsy all the time (gypsy only pulls up wet at 3 1/2 kg)lol gypsy pancakes.spice is still to young to trial yet but she can have fun meeting new people and doggie's and as it is a two night comp we will be spending the daylight hours at the beach that should be interesting spice has not seen the beach yet and gypsy is just too much of a lady to get wet she won't even walk on grass that has been wet from the dew. i am going to try to get some great pic's of the dogs that are trialing i am hopeing that some koolies will be there. well wish us luck lol Ummm not gypsy she is great at agility just the human that runs the course with her d.gif great dog shame about the handler haha.gif

Good luck at the trial and watch out for the dogs feet at the beach: Sand irritates the area between the pads on dogs who are'nt seaside all the time. 48 to 60 hours after a visit to the beach they start licking at their pads dg.gif Watch out for the "seaside squirts" too, dogs love sea water and chase and lap at it but the sea water irritates the lining of the lower intestine and 45mins to an hour later.... a case of "squirts" driving.gif
Good luck with the trial win.gif waiting to see a piccie of the winner.

thanks for the warning but we live 1/2hr from hervey bay and take the little shit's for a swim a couple of times over the summer mths each year i take plenty of water with me to wash out their mouths and thier feet. tobby who is not coming up with me this time loves the water and plays like mad he run with his nose stuck on the sand straight into the water (no wave's at the bay)and he can swim like an otter d.gif .gypsy is the only one that trie's not to get wet she can swim we had to teach her. it was so funny the first time that i put the little dogs into our swimming pool i put gypsy in frist and let go of her to put tobby in and help teach him to swim as he was a puppy at the time i turned around just in time to see gypsy going under i had to let go of tobby to save gypsy and help her learn to swim she was 2 1/2 years old at that time and could not swim tob's was three mths old and was swimming like a champ and very time i put him out of the pool he wanted back in haha.gif i can not take tobby bush walking after it rain's as he play's in all the puddles which is ok for bigger dogs but little white fluffy's look like walking mud packs by the end of our walks. dg.gif Click to view attachment
