Hi guys
Happy New Year
We actually had an obedience and agility trial on New Years Eve and it was a beautiful night. I had done Utility with Xena and Open with Inka and two Master agility. The agility was the last trial for a spot on the pedigree advance team challenge. Xena worked brilliantly and she was so desperate to do something she hates the christmas holidays she is so bored she would rather work than go for a run but she wouldnt say no to a run though. Xena got first place with a score of 191 points she would have got more but she picked up the correct leather put it down and went oops and pick it up so lost points Bugger!!!! Inka was sitting on 190 points and first place as well but she couldnt stay sitting on the sit stay it was way past her bed time lazy bugger!!!!! I didnt even get to the hide where she promptly lay down and went to sleep. The agility Xena didnt touch the contacts on the scramble [what contact thought that was what we do] and Inka got third she worked a brilliant round I did waste a second where the tunnel and dog walk was as she is so tunnel orientated that instead of going straight to the dogwalk we veered to do the tunnel lost time and as we were coming straight back to do the tunnel she decided that we must be doing anything but the tunnel so we lost time on that as well and we lost by a second DARN!!! There was 4 positions available and I got in with both of my girls so we will be competing in April in the International Autumn Festival. Other teams from Australia will be coming over to compete as well so it will be interesting and than a month later we will have our National Agility with everyone from around Australia competing and a few competitors from NZ for the first time so that will be intereasting and it will be hard cause there are some brilliant dogs out there with very fast contacts and weaves
It was a good night didnt get any sleep though and we also had a lightning show so now I am really tired drunk.gif
January we will have a games trial and so is in Feb Xena will be in her first lot of excellence games so hopefully I will know what I am doing
cheers

well done sounds like we both had fun new years eve doing agility with your girls getting good points and gypsy getting a clear run. i do my agility with AADA as i only own muts shi tzu cross thats gypsy and spice my koolie is still to young yet but she is still classed as a mut here so i stay away from the cccq and just do agility with AADA they love muts and don't look down on them like the cccq do, so i don't understand what your points mean but it sounds like you did very well ThumbUP.gif so i wish you the best of luck for your next comp and i hope you will do the same for me i am hopeing to get time off work for a comp in febuary. my new years eve resalution is to do more comps this year my club has only one comp each year and the next closes club is bundy and they only have two a year that's only three a year for all our training so this year i am going to try to get to the brisbane ones there are two clubs there that have camping one is on the north side which is good that's only 2 1/2 hours away but the other is on the south side thats about 5 1/2 hours away.Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentClick to view attachment

Great photos royalla, Gypsy is a very cleaver and proud little dog and obviously loves her agility.
