Hi guys
I am getting a new puppy within the next 6 months and I was wondering if I could get some help in looking for a new name I am getting a girl and hopefully it will be a blue merle or blue merle tri but just have to wait and see though. Im looking for an unusual name or an australian name that is easy to say and sound exciting. My mum named the border collie Inka and when she is in trouble or going around the agility ring and I have to demand her to do something its Inka but when I want to hype her up her name ended up stinka into stinkeeeee and she goes all hyped up with that name as I can use my voice its hard to explain over the web though. So anyway I thought I might ask if anyone know of an easy unusual name looking forward to hearing some
cheers

hi dannimilo
i have a list of names that mite help you they were for show cavies but there are some very good ones in it like sher-ra and shara dream with sher-ra drop the sher and use the ra to hype her up and with shara dream well you two will be shearing a dream of winning at agility and you could use just the shar to hype her up. i named my girl spice (all things nice lol) hopeing she will spice things up at the agility comps we have to wait and see if that happens she starts training in feburay.i try to find names that no other dogs have because there are that many molly's out there it's not funny so far there is only one spice thats reg for agility with AADA and thats my girl. i hope this list helps you.Click to view attachment
Lawson Legend
Think of something you like doing, then look at famous/well known people in that area and either use their names/surnames or a hybrid of the name and an identifying attribute.
For example: OH and I LOVE to read, our first ACD was called Tolkien ( way before the movie made the book popular again) he was a blue so he was Tolkien BlueLegend. Our red ACD is Gemma ( after David Gemmal) she's red so is Gemma Bloodstone.
1st name author related, 1st part of second name colour related, 2nd part of second name: related to authors subject matter.
Lawson is named after Henry Lawson but as he is registered has the kennel prefix before his name.
I love playing the name game for pets. beamme.gif
