thanx.gif Hi all

Thanks royalla, we are very pleased with the camera. It seems to lend itself really well to dogs and cows, our main subjects. Glad you like Chauncey, he is Spice's Grand Uncle (Tilly's litter brother). Currawong will be pleased also as he is their lord and master.

Hi Mitchell, a good camera makes ALL the difference. We both have always enjoyed photography and decided to save all our pennies so that when we finally got a digital camera it was a really good one. I think it is classed as a semi professional model - a Canon 30D digital SLR. We already had a Canon EOS300 film camera that had done a great job, but the digital just gives you so much more as you can keep shooting without any cost. Most of these photos have come from a bunch of 5 or 6 of each subject, a great help with dogs as subjects. The lens is a 24 -105 which also gives good flexibility, I have included here a photo of one of our cow paddocks taken last month at full zoom with the same lens as the portraits are taken with. The tools are very good ones!!

Hi Lawson, you are getting a lot better at the photos and I have to say, Lawson is not an easy dog to get a photo of so you are doing very well. I didn't catch up with him with the camera at the last meeting, but have included one from a previous meeting. You naughty thing though...asking for more photos, I have completely gone off at a tangent to the accounts I am supposed to be doing and playing with photos again!! You might have to explain to the Boss for me....but here you are...just a couple more...

I still think you need a special license to operate that monstosity you claim to be a camera...it's the size of a portable Foxtel dish yourock.gif

And LL you don't exagerate at all do you??

When we saw our accountant last week and he asked for figures it didn't really fly that I had been "busy"...you're all a bad influence.
Lawson Legend
woof.gif I did say portable Foxtel dish as opposed to a roof instalation and are you telling me that the said camera did not come with an instruction book the size of the Melbourne a-z Yellow Pages???? d.gif
Sorry if you got in strife, tell the numbers boy, you were busy "Collating info to make his job easier" that's what I tell ours potplant.gif when I am slack with stuff he needs.
