When looking for our first Koolie we looked at a few but when we heard of Keira & the wonderful effort to save her from destruction we decided she had earnt a home with us & so she came.

Keira is deaf & eyesight certainly not great, but she is ideal for us & we could not imagine life without her.
She is now a performing Trick Dog & has been started on cattle.

Here's Keria on her 3rd session learning to work cattle. As she is deaf she is mostly being asked to quietly hold cattle so she can easily see my hand signals. She is ideally suited to sheep (we have no sheep) as she is a calm worker that only applies the right amount of presence to hold cattle but is surprisingly forceful when required.

Radar (cross) is a new addition being with us less than a month, he is also a rescue & when we heard of him we knew he just had to come to us & it is like he has been here all along. He is just 7mths & in the short time we've had him he has learn all basic trickwork & also shows excellent ability on cattle.

We are building our numbers of Koolies presently, with dogs that will work well with horses & can work together for performances, demonstrations & the like.
